A draft of the constitution of People's Republic of Japan

A draft of the constitution of People's Republic of Japan (日本人民共和国憲法草案) is a draft of an amendment to the constitution of Empire of Japan released by the Japanese Communist Party in June 29, 1946. This draft was published during an animated discussion on the legislation of the Japanese Constitution after the Pacific War.

The characteristics of the draft are the abolishment of the Japanese Imperial system, flotation of the republicanism, the adoption of the democratic centralism, and the introduction of socialistic policies.
