Alaska Teen Media Institute

The Alaska Teen Media Institute (ATMI) is a nonprofit organization in Anchorage, Alaska under the umbrella of the Spirit of Youth foundation. It currently consists of program director Paul Flahive, volunteer assistant director Rosey Robards of the Anchorage Daily News, sustainability director and founder Shana Sheehy of Sheehy Media, and 13 high school students.

ATMI produces an hour-long radio show called "In Other News," which is completely written and produced by the youth members. The show is usually aired on the last Saturday of every month on KNBA 90.3 FM in Anchorage.

During the summer of 2006, a small subset of involved teens produced a live show called "Hello Summer" in place of the primarily pre-produced "In Other News." "Hello Summer" also included more music and less journalistic content than "In Other News." This show aired in June, July, and August 2006.
