Longest opera - The Sadler's Wells Company performed an uncut version of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg by Richard Wagner between 24 August and 19 September 1968. Each performance comprised 5 hours and 15 minutes of music.

Highest grossing Computer game spin-off film - Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (also Germany, USA and Japan) made $252 million (£173.6 million).
Most plasticine used in a feature film - Aardman Animation's Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit used 2,844 kg (6,272 lb) of plasticine.
Fastest selling live-action DVD - Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire (also USA) sold more than six copies a second on the day of its release (20 March 2006 - UK). It also sold more than 5 million copies on its first day of release in the USA (7 March 2006).
